Keith started his career with Corporate Facilities Group in November of 1998 at The Home Depot’s corporate headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia as a lead engineer. In 2000, he was promoted to Chief Engineer of building D at The Home Depot that was in the early stages of construction. The building consisted of 600,000 square feet of office space and 50,000 square feet data center. He attended all weekly construction meetings and commissioning of the tower and N+1 data center. He also trained staff on the sequence of operation of the data center plant and day to day operations of the facility.
In 2003, he was promoted to operations manager of several Class A office buildings totaling 800,000 square feet managing day to day operations at these facilities. In 2009, Keith returned to The Home Depot account as the Facilities Director.
Before Keith began his career with Corporate Facilities Group, he had started his career with the Fayette county water system as a water plant operator consisting of conducting water quality test and monitoring all operations associated with the treatment facility. He later decided to make a career change having a relative in the property management industry it opened the door for him to start as building technician at St Joseph’s doctor office building. He then had seen the opportunity to further his career in this industry.
Keith has continued to further his education through the years of employment with Corporate Facilities Group. He has obtained an Associates Degree in HVAC at Griffin Technical College. He also currently holds an unrestricted warm air contractor license with the state of Georgia. He also has received his FMA with BOMA.
