In May of 2000, Paul began his career in Facilities Management with Corporate Facilities Group at the Home Depot Store Support Center as Assistant Chief Engineer. Throughout his career with Corporate Facilities Group, Paul, has aggressively advanced from the Assistant Chief Engineer to Director of Operations. He is now the Director of Operations for GE Money Americas managing 750,000 square feet of call center environment, remittance processing and disaster recovery for environmentally vulnerable GEMA facilities.
Paul obtained a Bachelors degree from Texas A&M in 1997 and later went to work for Boeing Aerospace as a Design & Structural Analyst. In May of 2000, Paul moved to Georgia and began his Real Estate and Facility Management career with Corporate Facilities Group as the Assistant Chief Engineer for the Home Depot Corporate Office located in Atlanta, Georgia. His responsibilities included overseeing building maintenance, fire safety, HVAC, plumbing, electrical and work order maintenance program.
In 2002, Paul was promoted to Chief Engineer with CFG on the Spring Street account located in downtown Atlanta. Paul managed three facilities totaling over a million square feet of critical research laboratories, lecture facilities, office space, retail space and residential condominiums. During his tenure at the Spring Street account, Paul was involved in the construction and commissioning phases, MEP systems startup, warranty tracking, facility management and preventative maintenance programs.
In 2003, Paul advanced his career another step to become the Operations Account Manager of the GE Money Americas account. Initially managing 250,000 square feet of GEMA facilities in Atlanta, Paul and his team oversaw the build out and building renovation of the GEMA Alpharetta facility and are currently maintaining the original two Atlanta facilities. Through hard work and customer satisfaction, Paul and his team have acquired seven additional facilities totaling 750,000 square feet of call center environment, remittance processing and disaster recovery of environmentally vulnerable GEMA facilities. Paul currently manages GEMA facilities in the Midwest and Southeast implementing facility management, preventative maintenance, engineering operations, capital and operational expenditures, space planning and disaster recovery.
